Yoga practice is a connection of the physical with the spiritual. It is a simple and direct path towards understanding, one breath at a time, grounded in the body, expansive in the mind.
To practice vinyasa means to be connecting movement with the breath. In this traditionally built, strong, ashtanga-inspired flow class, we will holistically guide the body and mind through specific anatomical and yogic concepts, while engaging in an all round physical practice. You’ll learn different pranayama techniques, deepen your asana foundations and practice intermediate postures, with most postures being held for 5 breaths. Modifications for students of various needs will be offered.
There will be no music in the class. Occasionally, sound may be used to help deepen the meditative nature of asana practice.
Class is suited for beginner and intermediate students.
